My husband pays child support for for twins. But the twins have been recently taken away and given to the grand parent. Now the grand parent need him to sign some thing so that they have custody so that they can go after there daught for child support. ( My husband is affraid that they do not want him to sign over his full right full only give them partail custody)
Child support was put on my huaband because he did not show upto court 5 years ago for the child support. ( I know weird huh) the grandparents want custody of the child, which is something i totaly agree with but , because my husband has never had anything to do with them. So i was wondering what type of paper work would the grandparents need my husband to sign…( cause the are asking him to sign some paper)would it need to full or partial custody. ( his plan is to just go to court a gain custody so that the cild support will stop get a DNA test done and when he is done give them back to the grandparents

If mom is unfit–and I'm just assuming that's the case because you said "the twins have been recently taken away"–then why aren't they with their father?

I don't understand why the grandparents need him to sign over custody rights, because it sounds like the court already awarded them custody.

He should not sign anything without having his (HIS, not the grandparent's) attorney look it over. Find the money to hire one.

Why (if given a choice) would Dad want the grandparents to have full custody as opposed to partial custody? IF he’s thinking that he’ll get out of paying child support, he won’t. The only way that will happen is if the grandparents adopt the children, and in order to adopt them, Mom’s (and Dad’s) parental rights would have to be terminated. Just because the court took the kids away from Mom and gave custody to someone else does not mean her parental rights were terminated.

EDITED TO ADD THIS AFTER YOU ADDED ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

Let me see…he wants to sue for custody merely in order to stop child support and then give the kids back to the grandparents. Boy, he’s a gem (NOT!).

It won’t work. All the grandparents will have to do is go back to court, claim abandonment (and that’s what it is) and they will be awarded custody and child support from Dad (and Mom).

He needs to support his children!

Everybody loves to receive free stuff. Especially the free stuff that you would spend money on at the store anyhow, except now you’re just getting it for free.

This is even more true, when it’s free baby coupons.

About eight month ago I stumbled upon an online Huggies offer that said something like “Sign up and get a diapers”. I clicked on the add and answered a few questions, entered my information and sent it through. I received an email that told me that my free diapers were being shipped to me. I didn’t know what to expect, but figured it would be one or two diaper samples for me and my baby to try.

A few weeks later I received a package from Huggies in the mail containing 10 diapers and  several diaper coupons for $ 5 off my next purchases. All of this for 5 minutes of my time, answering a few questions and I didn’t even have to pay the shipping.

With my thirst for getting more free stuff heightened I took to the internet and started browsing the internet for baby coupons and to my surprise there were so many freebie offers, sweepstakes and other really useful coupons that you can get for free. I guess that when you fall into the demographic that a certain company is looking for, they want to send you a bunch of freebies in the hope that you’ll tell your friends and family about how much you love the product and how useful it is… and you know what, I’ve recommended several of the products that I received for free (and continued buying it afterwards with my coupons), so I guess everybody wins.

Once in a while the websites and companies that send you baby coupons and samples asks for your feedback. It’s always optional, but I usually tell them what I think of their product and often the comapny end up sending me even more baby coupons.

If you like to get free baby stuff sent to your mailbox, then I will give some advice on getting started. There are so many baby offers online and so much information that it’s easy to get lost. What I do is find a few quality websites that have several offers and then just bookmark these sites and join their mailing list or RSS feed and then they do all the hard work of finding the offers and just send it to my mailbox.
