My husband are wanting to try to have a girl, I have a boy now and would LOVE to have a little girl running around. I am also open to having twins. His mother’s parents had twins and I know somewhere far out in my family tree we have twins but is there any way to "boost" this?

The only way to get what you’re after is to have IVF with gender selection, and hope that both embryos implant. There is no way to increase your risk of twins, and any history of twins on his side doesn’t have any influence at all, it would have to come from your side. There are methods that might increase your chances of having one sex or the other, but they’re not foolproof, so you could end up with just one boy.
