sounds kinda like ...
sounds kinda like you're just ing about your bad experiences. my twins have been sleeping from 2 months old because we co-sleep. you'd actually get "your sleep" if you didn't force your kids to be scared and alone at night when they need your comfort the most. and my SO and i find intimate time, it just takes some creativity. let go of your victorian notions of detached parenting and maybe you'd be able to chill out and not be so wound-up-on-edge as you obviously seem to be.
