Since I am having twins will I be able to feel movement sooner?
My contact just asked a question about fetal movement and when it starts so it got me wondering, since I am having twins (my first pregnancy) should I expect to feel them sooner since there is twice the movement and less room? I know right now they have plenty of room to move since I am 14 weeks along. When should I expect to feel movement? I can’t wait!
I’m 19 weeks with twins and I’ve been feeling them since about 16 weeks (at least I think it was them), I thought I’d feel them earlier than most people but even now I don’t really get distinct movements that make me think OMG they’re moved. It feels more like butterflies.

no, my daughter is also having twins and everything happens around the same time. its once they get bigger that it gets crowded.

I felt very slight movement around 16-18 weeks. But I had to actually sit with my hand on my belly and pay close attention to catch it. But as I got bigger, you could literally see the movement. It was so funny to watch people look at my belly and go "OMG! IT MOVED!!!" But for me it was amazing to feel and see!
Congrats!

Hey! I was the contact
My mother in law had two sets of twins (my husband is a twin and his sisters are twins, all fraternal) and she actually told me when we first announced we’re having a baby that she expected to feel the twins sooner than usual, but it happens around the same time a mom expecting a single baby feels movement…15-16 weeks, it seems like.
Good luck and congrats!
