I am an identical twin my aunt and nan I know they run strong on my side of the family.. Do I have a increased chance of having twins?
I am the only identical twin in my family the rest are not.
If you have any fraternal twins from like your mom, grandmother, aunts, cousins [females only] then yes you do have an icnreased chance of having twins. But identical twins are seen as a freak of nature and are not genetic.

Yes you do.

Only fraternal twins are hereditary. Identical twins are eithe due to IVF or luck of the draw.
It’s exciting to think about though! I though I was having twins but there is only a singleton in there!

identical twins happen by chance, so there is nothing genetic about it. Fraternal twins are the only ones that show genetic linkage. So unfortunately you do not. sorry.

Honestly I wouldnt know for sure on that one, but I have always been told that it happend every 4 generations.. So if you was a twin, depending on how many kids your siblings have I think your ok. but like i said im not really 100% sure.. You could always ask your doctor.. I hope I helped out. God Bless
