Do IDENTICAL twins 8-12 years old with other brothers hang out with each other more than their other siblings?

Do IDENTICAL twin brothers 8-12 years old with other brothers spend more time with their twin than with their other siblings? If so, is it because they are identical?
Identical twins look identical to me, but do they view each other as identical?
I’m an only child, and I have no experience at all with siblings, and I have no frame of reference.
Please state whether you’re an identical twin, a parent of an identical twin, or a sibling of identical twins.
Only have an answer to one…..Identical twins see a difference between themselves and their twin and will quickly point out those differences to you.

Grew up with a set of identical twins
my boyfriend happens to be an identical twin… he’s the younger (by 2 minutes) of the two… the twins are 24yrs old now and have 2 older brothers 26 and 28…. their parents told me that they spent ALL of their time together as kids.. also my best friend megan(21) has older identical twin sisters(24) she also told me they spent all their time together… even now joe and steve live together and so do lindsey and jessica…
i feel like identical twins have a super bond i guess because they are from a single embryo? both of these sets of twins look a LOT alike… when i first met them i couldn’t tell them apart. its their personalities that make all the difference… lindsey love work while jessica loves hanging out and same goes for the boys joe is fashionable and steve enjoys playing video games…
twins are VERY interesting i must say… it must be nice to have a friend forever although i have heard stories where identical twins have clashing personalities and can’t stand to be near one another…
