Do we as parents need to do a Backround Check on all our kids teachers?

now VAN JONES! These people are absolutely off their rockers! They are brainwashers! Van Jones supports cold blooded cop killers! Thinks our govt flew airplanes into the twin towers! He is going to TEACH OUR KIDS! WHAT THE? He should be in a mental hospital!
I think that you should speak to the teacher and if necessary to the Principal./

I don’t know how many teachers your children have had, or how many you have had serious disagreements with, but why don’t you just go to the school and talk to him first, then to the principal if you don’t get satisfactory answers from the teacher?
There are millions of teachers in America. Some of them are going to be awful. Some, like the middle school teacher in Littleton, Colorado yesterday, are actual heroes.
I remember when I was teaching, we had a fist fight between a student and his father in front of the school office. Police became involved. I wish I could have complained to somebody and gotten the student new parents.
