OK so i don’t think that the mom and dad im living with are my real mom and dad they look completely
nothing like me and they are nothing like me i don’t even look like my sister or brother and me and my sister are just 2 years apart from each other since i don’t look like the family i live with i started looking at pictures of the rest of my family like my grandmother’s and aunt’s and uncle’s and stuff but i don’t look like them either but i found my birth certificate and it looks legitimate but i still don’t believe that this is my real family and there was a picture of my sister with my mom around the time she was supposed to be pregnant but she wasn’t and every time we go out people say that my mom and my sister look like twins and when they look at me they just say that i look adorable which i do but they only say that because they think im like 11 but im freakin 14 but other people sometimes think im an adult which i don’t get, anyway i think that a celebrity (someone i will not name) is my dad because he looks just like me and our personality’s are just alike and every time i go out people look and stare at me like im a celebrity thats why i don’t really get to go out alot, and i kinda have a resemblance to his brothers and sisters and me and him both have the same eyes and are the same skin color and me and his sister have the same hair color which is kinda like a reddish brownish color and i keep having dreams about him one time i had a dream that i was at his house and his voice was telling me to do stuff for him.
WELL THEN CAN ANY OF YOU EXPLAIN WHY I LOOK ALOT LIKE THAT CELEBRITY AND HIS FAMILY MEMBERS

Try doing a search starting off at the hospital that you were born, they must have some records. Really try sitting down and seriously talking to them.

Also try talking to there oldest friends.

You can always do a DNA test.

2. As you’re leaving the movie premiere, you catch the eye of your favorite actor(of the opposite sex) from the movie-which one is it?
3. You’re shocked as the actor walks towards you, with a big smile on his face. The two of you get talking, and make an instant connection. He even asks you on a date- where do you go?
4. A year later, and, amazingly, you and the actor are still together, and have managed to keep your relationship on the down low. That is, until, you become pregnant! You’re able to hide it for the first few months, but then the paparazzi go crazy! Months later, you have a baby girl. Name her something that’s a little crazy-it is Hollywood after all. Do a guilty pleasure name.
5. A year later, things with your boyfriend and one-year-old are going well. When your boyfriend proposes, you say yes! Where’s the wedding and honeymoon?
6. Shortly after coming back from your honeymoon, you learn that you’re pregnant again. Eight months later, you get twins after a very difficult pregnancy! It’s a boy and a girl, and you decide that you want their names to have the same initials. The boys middle name is his father’s.

8. Two years later, you have a four year old and two 2 year olds. Your oldest daughter has a gift for acting which makes your husband gloat with pride, but she doesn’t like it much. Do you push her into show biz where you know she’ll thrive, or let her not do it-saddening your husband?
9. A year later, you and your husband are sad that you haven’t been able to get pregnant again. So you decide to follow Brangelina’s footsteps and adopt. What country do you adopt from? Boy or girl? First name is old fashioned, and the middle name is from the child’s origin.
10. Two years later, and a highly anticipated movie that your husband’s been working on is about to come out. Because of this, the paparazzi and fans stalk your every move. Days after the movie debuts, rumors start swirling that your husband has been unfaithful. You’re heartbroken when he admits it is indeed true. Do you give him another chance, or dump him?
11. If you dumped him, you’re a single parent now, who never ended up going to college! What job do you pursue, and where do you move?
If you gave your husband another chance,do you two move somewhere into the country(paparazzi is crazy after the rumors), or make your family suck up the fact that you have no privacy, so that your husband can keep making movies? If you move, where to? Attach a pic.
12. Ten years later, your kids are practically grown up. This saddens you, but you get another shot at motherhood when you are forced to take in your sister’s newborn(girl) and one year old(boy). Name the girl anything, but the boy’s initials are FE

All my moms cousins have had a set of twins; now what ever happens to skip my mom i tend to get, or that has happened to her is now happening to me! Now what are my chances of having twins?

I have often wondered the same thing….here is what I found….

You’ll raise your chances of having twins if….

You are waiting until later in life to start your family. Women who are 35- 39 years old are three to five times more likely to release more than one egg when they ovulate, which of course can be responsible for producing twins. The chances of having twins increases with age; 17% of mothers over the age of 45 give birth to twins. Even just over the age of 30 - the rates start to increase. If you are younger than 25, it is not likely -

Now this will only result in fraternal twins - babies who are created from separate eggs. The mother’s age does not seem to have any effect on whether or not she’ll have identical twins - babies from one split egg. Identical twins are truly a mystery!

If you are an identical twin ( monozygotic) you do have an increased chance of having twins yourself. Your chances of having twins can be significantly higher if you are relying on fertility technology. One drug in particular - Clomid (clomiphene) works by stimulating the pituitary gland to make the ovaries produce and release mature eggs has been linked to higher rates of twins - some studies say as high as one in five.

If you use birth control pills and then stop - or don’t always take them regularly. Sometimes former birth control pill users who immediately get pregnant after stopping the pill can seem to get an extra hormone surge, causing more than one egg to be released at a time - resulting in twins.

If twins ‘run in the family’. There are a lot of misconceptions here, but mainly that it only matters what happens on the mother’s ( maternal) side of the family. If there are fraternal twins running in the mother’s side of the family, this may increase the chances of having twins for you.

If you’ve already had a few ( or more!) children, or if you’ve already had a set of twins , your chances of having twins goes up. Families with twins are generally more fertile and your odds go up with each child you have - along with your age.

If you live in Nigeria. This African country apparently has the highest twinning rate in the world, estimated at 1 in 22 in the Yorubas of Nigeria.. Some sources attribute it to their consumption of large quantities of yams and the estrogen-like properties. So if you really want to conceive twins - think about eating yams !

If you are taller or heavier than the average woman - Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands have the highest twin rate among whites and African women have a higher rate than white women. Asians have the lowest rate.

If you live in a rural area instead of a busy city. The theory is that country women are a little bigger, a little stronger and have healthier diets and less pollution.

Or maybe you will just be plain lucky and mother nature gave you the gift of twins. If so - enjoy - you may never know the reason ‘why’ you were chosen.

So you can see that most of the odds of having twins are out of your control - with the exception of eating yams( which may be worth a try if you really want twins!)The exact reasons for twinning are not known conclusively. Next up? How IVF works and the chances of having an IVF twin pregnancy.

Best of Luck to you

What are the chances of us having twins?

My husband is a twin and i am also a twin. My sister and I are fraternal twins and my husband and his brother are identical twins. What are the chances of us having twins?
We aren’t planning to have family yet but we were just talking about this the other night and if we do get twins then i will be happy and if we don’t then i will be happy too. =)

Your husband’s family has nothing to do with your odds of having twins. Genetically, the predisposition for twins comes from the mother’s family. Identical twins are random occurrences of one egg splitting and both halves being fertilized, and have nothing to do with genetics-however fraternal twins come from a genetic predisposition toward hyperovulation (that is, producing more than one viable egg at a time) and so having fraternal twins in the maternal family can increase the odds of twins.

Your odds of having fraternal twins, being a fraternal twin yourself, are roughly 1 in 17 (or around 5%) as opposed to the general population which has about a 1 in 60 (or a 1.6%) chance. The odds of anyone including you and your husband having identical twins are roughly 1 in 240 (or around 0.4% chance). That being said, nothing is guarnateed. My whole family is made up of fraternal twins and we had three babies-one at a time. Genetics is kind of a roulette that way : )

I’m a twin. My twin has a 4.0. Perfect grades. I have something called Non verbal learning disorder. It basically means that while I excel in English, mathematical things are impossible for me. I struggle greatly with history maps, science equations/mathematical concepts and ALL math classes. I’m extremely upset because although I had a tutor, I recently failed geometry. My parents are very angry and don’t seem to understand that I’m not being lazy. I just do not understand! I work my butt off and yet never seem to make progress. My parents refuse to search further into my disability as they believe its all in my head. "You think you are bad at math therefore you are." Can anybody help me out? I’m tired of being compared to my "perfect" sister. I’m not lazy, I truly don’t understand.

Oh how frustrating, if you have been diagnosed as having non verbal learning disorder, your parents should have learnt a lot more about it, to better support you, it is not as simple as trying harder etc, because to better able to learn you need the correct supports to be put in place. Sadly some parents are good at trying to support their child with a learning disorder others are not.

Do you have an IEP?

Talk to the school counselor or a trusted teacher and ask them for support, they may even talk to your parents, they may also help in looking at the subjects your doing and organize to adjust them accordingly.

What should happen is someone needs to look at your strengths & weaknesses and how you best learn, such as visual cues etc. Then put in place the appropriate supports to help you. Encourage you to work on your weaknesses, and channel your skills into the area’s strengths to help build your self confidence.

Other things you can do is;
Keep a diary of when work is due, highlight the date a assignment is due, and do a little each day, never leave it until the last minute to do.
When doing home work have a quite environment, with plenty of space, and lighting, no t.v etc as this is distracting
Ask teacher to give assignments in point form, and maybe a little shorter in length, so you can work through at your pace, ticking off each point as you go. And your more likely to hand in a good piece of work, rather than half or nothing.
Have your tutor proof read you work
When studying for tests and exams, underline key words, or write them into a blank book with a note so you can reread them. Writing notes can help in remembering things

Edit; Next time your parents compare you to your sister, tell them that I am me, a separate entity to your sister, and its unfair to compare her to you.

Edit; I just realized that I had not said that my daughter and I are both dyslexic, my daughter has dysgraphia too. Hence my experience in the field of learning disorders.

I’m a little worried about going into my 3rd trimester even though I’m only 20 weeks. What does it feel like? What if you are not fully developed because you are to young and you have always be lean plus you’re having twins?
Please tell me the good the bad and the ugly but don’t try to insult me or lie to me.

I just gave birth to twins about 2 months ago. My third trimester was rough. I couldn’t move around very well anymore, literally every bone and muscle in my body hurt. It was a long, painful process. But it’s so worth it, the third trimester is all about getting the babies here healthy. Knowing you’re going through the pain just for them is amazing! It’s something you’ll remember forever, even though you might feel horrible it’s extremely exciting knowing your so close to finally meeting them. I’d love to chat if you wanna send me an e-mail at angiepeterson21@yahoo.ca I’d be glad to answer your questions :)
