Is a twin more likely to have twins?
My fiance’ and I are getting married on October 17. She has an identical twin. So, if my fiance’ and I were to have kids down the line somewhere would we have a better chance than most couples to have identical twins? If this helps, I do not have an identical twin. Anything would help! Thanks!
Well put it this way my husband is a twin my brother’s are twins and my brother and sister are twins . I have triplets and 2 sets of twins so yes it can happen .

No, the ‘twin gene’ is not carried by a twin - it is a condition that occurs during the gestation period!….

It usually goes from grandparent to grandchild, but not always.

No. Twins skip generations. My aunts are identical twins and my sister and I are identical, so we’ve had this conversation plenty of times…even asked a doctor lol. So, I can live fairly comfortably knowing my chances of having twins are slim to none.
