I am 7 weeks along and just went in to the midwife. She felt my uterus and said I was much farther along than I said but I was really sure of the last period. She did an ultra sound and said yes baby is 7 weeks ( only one in there) but uterus is measuring 10 weeks or so and she couldn’t find any fibroids or anything to explain it. Does your uterus get bigger this early with twins.

u could just be carry alot more fluid that usual and thats wats making u look bigger dnt wori theres noting to wori abt… if there was twin the midwife would have seen it in the scan

Why do nurture people believe that identical twins have different DNAs? I’ve met people who believe that identical twins are socialized into looking the same and their dnas are different. Why can’t people open their eyes and see that genetics actually exist and that identical twins have identical dna.

dna isn’t only appearance. It’s also personality and other things. Don’t run off assuming it’s only the looks. And how easy would it be to tell twins apart if they had different hair? The only similarities are height, and appearance.

nothing helps concieve twins you either have them or you dont, you either release 2 eggs and have them both fertilised (which happens some months) or you have 1 egg that splits into 2

My Boyfriend died in a car accident 5 months ago and a week before he died we had sex and the condom broke the day of his funeral i found out i was pregnant. SO Sorry to hear about your boyfriend, but at least your getting something of his back. Where is his family located? Could you not get some support from them? There might even be government funding since he passed away. I’d go and talk to a government agent or a social worker. They should have lots of resources available to you.

i havent played it for the 360 yet but i know that for the pc version once you earn enough life time points you can buy a thing called fertility treatment and when you buy that it will increase the chance of you haveing twins or triplets

I have two children and would like to have 2 or 3 more but I would like to just go through one more pregnancy if possible.. So is there any way to have twins purposely without going through invitro? Are there any drugs to take by mouth besides clomid or how ever you spell it :). Because I heard that only 5-8% of women on clomid or chlomid have twins or multiples so… Anyways do you know of anything?

i have heard of things to help, but nothing guranteed. clomid is the "easiest" way to try to have multiples, but is risky when not given by a doctor. i saw on discovery health that countries that eat yams have higher rates of twims. the plant estrogen acts like human estrogen and eating the skins of yams has the most concentrated amounts. there is something called soy isoflavones (spelling?) you can get at walmart and you take it like clomid and it is rumored to cause twins. the last way i have heard of is a product called "FertilAid" and is avaliable online or at GNC (but its got a different name there). i used it for 3 months and got pregnant on the third, we are only expecting one though. but it does the same thing as all the other "methods" and raises your estrogen at just the right time. so although there is no sure fire way of twins there are ways to try.

I was asleep on the floor with my niece (sleepover, twin and nephew on the bed) and i went to get out of bed. i heard my mates chatting in my parents room. there was a celebrity down stairs. my mate went "it’s aston merrygold!" so i ran downstairs, and hugged him REALLY tightly (the other day, I said to my mate "I hug people REALLY tightly when i love them"). then we was on my parent’s bed on our blackberries. he got call from a girl and i felt really jelous. i wasn’t going out wiht him in my dream, but it felt like it. (i’m 13, he’s 22). i heard him laughing and calling someone "babe" and then i went "can i get a picture of us?" and he went "… look i’m going now, bye" and he went.

what was this all about?

How far along were you and how? Did they find 2 heartbeats? Or did you not know until you had a sonogram?

I am 13 weeks pregnant and Ive always had a fear of having twins, i DO NOT want twins but of course if i did i would love them both. I have a history of twins running in my family including myself being a twin as well. So i am just curious. I have my first doctors appointment tomorrow.

Just curious…Do you not want to have a twins because you are a twin or because it’s so hard to handle two?

I was 5 weeks when my doctor called and said my HCG was way too high for how far I was in my pregnancy. She had me come in the same day as HCG results and via U/S we saw two sacs. Confirmed the heartbeats at 7 weeks.

I’m 8 weeks preg w twins… 22 years old, first pregnancy… Full time student part time waitress… Very scary thing to face! Hopefully I can finish school (i have 1 more year left) and continue to work enough to support the babies… Any advice for when my lil buggies get here? I plan to breast feed, and my bf and I are getting a new apt together, prob when then kids turn 3 months… other then that i dunno what to ask/ expect!?
