First of all: congratulations! Having twins is great - but you will need all te help you can get. We bought a lot of baby clothes second hand, they outgrow them so fast... You can save a lot o money that way. Same goes for items like high chairs, beds, toys (they need very little in the beginning), baby phone, bathing tub, baby swings (can be a lifesaver for twin parents!) Just look at Ebay, I even got my car seats there.

Invest in a dryer, you will have a lot of laundry, and in a good twin stroller, that adapts itself to your circumstances and lifestyle.

Good luck to you and your babies!
References :
Being a twin mom

I'd definitely want a baby shower - especially considering these will be your first children. That will help. Don't be afraid to buy used- twins go through a lot of clothes in the first couple years. Look around in your area for a multiples group - they usually have sales/classes to support parents. Huggies/Pampers/Enfamil etc have multiple coupons. Once the babies are born you can send in a copy of their birth records and they'll mail you coupons and samples.
Stock up on Diapers/wipes - invest in a good stroller. If you are planning on breastfeeding - join a support group geared towards mothers of multiples - breast feeding can be difficult - breast feeding twins is a whole other story - make sure you have a support system in place for when they are born - the first couple months are hectic - and go with the flow and enjoy your little ones!
References :
Life- mom of twins -

love your life is going to be turned up side down and back to front when your baby's are borne. the only advice i can give you is i would get the new apartment now not later because when the baby's are borne you will have no time to pack up and move. and that way you can get their room ready and the new place the way you like it and get the right baby stuff for the amount of room you will have. and it will be too stressful to move with twins.
it is smart that you want to BF that is one of the best things you can do for your baby's. and i would start to save as much money as humanly possible because you will need it. make sure you have a baby shower to help with expenses. i did it for my first one but not my second and after he was borne i was kicking myself for not having one for him because it was so so expensive doing it our selves. and get organised your baby's will end up telling you their own routine and stick to it. also get your boyfriend to take some time off work when the baby's are born (at less2-3weeks) it will help you a lot and nap throw the day when baby's are asleep that will help you keep your sanity. at the end of all this all baby's especially twins need routine and organisation and i can not EXPRESS that enuf.
wish you nothing but the best and good luck with it all:)
References :
mum to two boys age 7yr and 10 months and aunty to twin girls aged 2yrs
