im having twins and one of my baby’s has edema any idea,s whats wrong?
im 14 weeks pregnant went for my scan and was told that one of my baby’s has edema around it and that could indicate there is something wrong. im going to see a specialist on monday but there are only 3 options terminate the hole pregnancy or to keep it going or serlective termination where i keep one but they all hold risks has anyone gone through anything like this or has any advice what i should do
Oh Honey I am SO SO Sorry to hear this. I agree with the first person though.. BUT If I were you I would cancel this question right now and wait to talk tothe specialist. No telling what some people will find on the internet to tell you. I am NOT trying to be rude.. I am trying to spare you any more worry. The doctor will be able to better explain all the options to you.. and It MIGHT not be as bad as they think.. so I would just wait to see the dr.

All choices have risks, but id rather risk myself in continuing the pregnancy rather than to terminate it. In your baby’s edema, id rather not speculate cause i havent seen the result of the scan. Im praying for you and your baby’s health. Good luck in your pregnancy… =)
